Recap: Resident’s Open Day 18th April 2026
Residents’ Day Recap — Saturday 18 April 2026 
On Saturday 18 April 2026, we were delighted to welcome residents to our first-ever Residents’ Open Day under JMB’s newly formed Senior Leadership team. The day was all about bringing people together—creating space for honest conversations, sharing updates, and making it easier for residents to connect directly with the teams who support them.
Why we held the event
The purpose of the day was simple: to give residents the chance to come down, meet Senior Leadership, and speak face-to-face with colleagues from Housing, Estates, and Repairs. A key highlight was hearing from Abbi Agana, our CEO, who delivered three informative presentations covering the current position of the JMB and where we envisage being in the future.
A fantastic turnout
We were thrilled to welcome over 50 residents throughout the event. The atmosphere was warm and community-focused, with balloons and bunting, an outdoor seating area, and plenty of refreshments including cupcakes, tea, and coffee.

What residents could access on the day
Residents had the opportunity to:
- Speak with the Repairs team and raise queries directly
- Get support and guidance with the new upcoming Resident Portal
- Be among the first to view our new Complaints & Compensation Policy
- Pick up JMB merchandise
- Enter our free raffle, with every attendee receiving automatic entry for a chance to win one of three hampers
