A reminder to the residents in Bermondsey St about the meeting on Monday 24th February.

Dear Bermondsey St residents,

 

At the open meeting in May last year the residents agreed to form a new TRA representing Bermondsey St estates. Since then, we have twice attempted to have an AGM where the TRA would be formally constituted. Not enough residents came to the meeting on 14th September, while a second attempt on 17th October had to be called off after a disruption caused by some of the attendees.

 

We are calling a third meeting on Monday 24th February, starting 6:30pm, at the JMB Office lobby. To ensure the orderliness of the proceedings, we have asked Mr Dave Walker, an experienced mediator from the Calm Mediation, as well as officers of the Southwark Group of Tenants Organisations, to attend as observers.

We invite all residents of Tyers, Tanner, Whites Grounds, and Snowsfields, to attend this meeting and have your new TRA set up. With Officers and Committee elected and the Constitution signed, your new TRA will then be able to represent you with the JMB, nominate Directors to its Board, and pursue the projects to the benefit of your estates that we know so many of you want to see happening.
