Cold callers / bogus callers on JMB estates

Dear Tenants,

 

We are writing to inform you about a recent concern regarding cold callers who have been knocking on doors within our community. These individuals are asking to come inside your homes to measure various aspects of the property and take pictures.

Please be aware that these cold callers are not authorized by the JMB management or any affiliated service providers.

Allowing unknown individuals into your home can pose significant security risks.

Here are some important steps to follow:

1. Do not allow strangers into your home: If someone you do not recognize asks to enter your home, politely decline and close the door.
2. Verify identities: If the person claims to be from a legitimate company, ask for identification and verify their credentials by contacting the company directly using a known phone number.
3. Report suspicious activity: If you encounter any suspicious individuals, please report the incident to the local authorities and inform our management office immediately.
