Community Initiatives for Young People over 14

There are many community initiatives available for Southwark’s young residents over 14 years old. See below:

Southwark Youth Independent Advisory Group are still recruiting young people to get involved. There is an information session being held on Thursday 28^th January 4pm via zoom for young people interested in joining – email youngadvisors@southwark.gov.uk to register or for an application pack.

The Young Advisors will be holding monthly mental health awareness talks on various subjects in partnership with our friends at The Nest Southwark. The Nest is a dedicated service for young people aged 11-25 who would like to talk to someone about their mental health and well-being. Their online talks are aimed at 14+ and commence Thursday 21^st January at 5pm via Zoom. For more information on The Nest click here

2-3 Degrees are running a new employability programme called Head Start Action. It starts this coming Wednesday 20th January for those age 16-18 years. For more information please click here
