JMB Repair changes

JMB Repair service

I am writing to sincerely apologise for any problems you may have experienced with our repairs service during the pandemic. Like many other social housing managers we faced challenges in maintaining a repairs service throughout lockdown whilst ensuring the safety of residents and employees. However, we acknowledge that an already challenging situation was made worse by the fact that our new repairs contractor SC Duncan was simply not delivering the quality of service we expect.
We would like to reassure you that we have now terminated the contract with SC Duncan and we look forward to delivering a much better repairs service. Our in-house repair team will now be working with a new team of more reliable contractors to provide the following services:

BAS Group -out of office emergency repairs
Grouts electrics – electrical repairs
B&G windows UPVC window repairs
Bridgewater Roofing -roofing and high level repairs
Drainclear blocked drains
Saltash and GAMGB medical adaptations, asbestos removal, damp roofing work and empty properties.

Our priority has been to get in good contractors at competitive rates. As soon as is practicable our intention is to undertake another competitive tendering exercise to ensure that we are getting the best mix of quality and price that we can achieve.

We are proud to continue working with our long-standing contractors who maintained an unwavering level of service during the pandemic:

Liftec for lifts, Silk & Mackman for entry entry phones and OCO for heating.
