Lord Heseltine visits the JMB

Lord Heseltine visited the JMB lastweek and spent time in the award winning Community Garden at Whites Grounds Estate as can be seen in the photo. Not quite as big as his own estate but impressive nevertheless we feel.

Lord Heseltine is currently an advisor to the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Growth. He was instrumental in the 1994 Right to Manage legislation under which the JMB was able to pursue self management. Lord Heseltine was particularly interested in the successful journey of the JMB over the past 20 years and how TMO’s can extend their remit to provide local integrated services for communities.
